Pancha Vidha Bhakti Bhavas:
(Five Varieties of Bhakti Feelings)


1) Dasya Bhava: - God is Master, Devotee is his Servant.  
Example: Rama and Hanuman


2) Sakhya Bhava: - God is Friend. Devotee is his Friend.  
Example: Krishna and Arjuna


3) Madhura Bhava: - God is Husband. Devotee is his Wife.  
Example: Krishna and Gopikas

4) Vaira Bhava: - God is Enemy.  Devotee is his Enemy.  
Example: Rama and Ravana, Kumbhakarna

5) Vaatsalya Bhava: - God is Child.  Devotee is his Parent. 
Example: Krishna and Yashoda
